We’re growing and looking for a Sales Manager Environmental Compliance who can lead consultative conversations, build lasting customer relationships, and consistently deliver revenue through solution-led selling.
The opportunity
You’ll own the full sales cycle – identifying prospects, shaping proposals with our technical team, and closing business that helps customers meet their environmental and legal obligations. This is a client-facing role with regular travel to meetings, site visits, and stakeholder workshops.
What you’ll do
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline using CRM, with clear forecasting and structured follow-up.
- Engage prospects through discovery-led meetings to understand compliance challenges, priorities, and decision drivers.
- Translate customer needs into tailored proposals, pricing, and commercial terms – focused on measurable value and outcomes.
- Present confidently to a range of stakeholders (operations, EHS, procurement, finance, leadership).
- Stay current on regulatory and market developments, using that knowledge to create urgency and relevance in sales conversations.
- Negotiate and close agreements while protecting margin and ensuring long-term account viability.
- Develop account plans for key customers to grow recurring revenue and expand services over time.
- Collaborate closely with Technical, Operations, Customer Support, and Finance to deliver a smooth handover and strong customer experience.
- Track performance against targets and take ownership of improving conversion rates at each stage of the funnel.
What we’re looking for
- Demonstrable success in B2B consultative sales, ideally within environmental services, compliance, sustainability, or regulated industries.
- Confidence discussing environmental compliance topics and translating them into practical solutions (training can be provided - curiosity and learning speed matter).
- Strong stakeholder management skills and a relationship-first approach that still drives commercial outcomes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills - clear, credible, and persuasive.
- Solid CRM discipline (pipeline hygiene, activity tracking, forecasting).
- Commercial awareness: comfortable with pricing, margin, and contract negotiation.
- Full German driving licence and willingness to travel for customer meetings.
Nice to have: experience selling managed services, frameworks, multi-site agreements, or working within broker/outsourced service models.
